Bro. James reaching out in the community
LOCATED IN BENT TREE, Hope Fellowship has the unique opportunity to reach those residents within the apartment community and invite them to worship services. Residents have the opportunity to see first-hand some of the activities and ministries that Hope Fellowship provides.
On at least a weekly basis, Bro. James makes a point to walk up to residents and talk to them, inquiring about their life, asking them about attending church, and most importantly asking them about Jesus.
Because the church is located on the grounds of the apartment complex, it removes the barriers of not having transportation and of not knowing where the church is.
Perhaps one of the ways in which adults and parents are best witnessed to is in the ministry that their children receive through all the programs and Bible Study offered through Hope Fellowship. As parents see their child benefiting, and that Hope Fellowship genuinely cares for their children, it opens the door for the parents to consider Hope Fellowship, and more importantly, to be
interested in the things of the Lord.
